For and Against

In 4T we have been learning how to make and plan persuasive writing. First we brainstorm ideas for persuasive for and against arguments and then choose which side is better and stronger to write our writing.

Here is an example:

The lunch break should be longer at school

For:

  • Get to have more fun
  • P.E in playtime
  • Start to like outside

Against:

  • Waste learning with playtime
  • Teachers might forget and wonder why late
  • Get bored of being inside
